If you're worried about buying from a complete stranger, check the feedback of the seller before you complete the purchase. The higher the number the better, but also check the percentage of feedbacks. If the seller has had too many negative feedbacks from buyers who have experienced problems on a previous purchase, then that may raise a red flag and perhaps you should look elsewhere. Whoever you buy from, should things go wrong, you can rely on eBay's buyer's protection, should the item you buy prove to be faulty or not as described or not even turn up at all.
